What they search for.

I have 8 year track record of success in Search Marketing and every time, the business owner is shocked to learn how his clients think of his services. It has always been different than how he believed his business was thought of.

If you miss how your prospects are looking for you, you miss their business. The solution to never missing another prospect is online market research that nails down exactly how your products and services are being searched for online.

Without knowing what terms they use when searching for you, there can be no smart strategy to attract clients and profits.

Our $895 Online Market Research Tells You these 3 vital things:
1 • exactly what your prospects are search for – in every variation
2 • how many people each month search for that specific set of keywords
3 • what it would cost, monthly, to put your business into the Top 3 in Google for that particular set of keywords

From there, we consult with you to develop the smartest strategy for whatever budget you choose.
One business invested $135/month and made $8,000/month
One business invested $1,200/month and made $12,700/month
One business invested $8,000/month and made $133,000/month

We work with you wherever you are at, knowing each marketplace and service area is unique. We have done it for small local business and nationwide corporations alike.

We have so proven this works that we are offering a special no-contract offer valid through 12/12/09. This lets you try it for a month and see for yourself the amount of new business you generate. Then you tell us whether you want continued visibility and attention or now. Simple.

So we start with keyword research. Then we consult with you on what terms will produce the most profits. Those two things are $895. Next you pick the terms and each term has a pricetag next to it based on the research. Simply add the terms and that determines your monthly budget. There are no hidden fees and no surprise costs (unlike everyone else).

Research-Backed Strategy For Results
Success starts with solid data that tells you exactly what your online marketability profile is. You know your strategy is smart before you even start promoting yourself and that is the key to new profits and clients today.

Contact AWS Creative Solutions LLC: 214-703-0505 for more information.

8 KEYS TO EMAIL SUCCESS WITH CHANGING TECHNOLOGY

The world of online communications is ever-changing. The way people communicate is changing. The problem is this: unless you stay on top of this changing wave of technology usage by your target clients, you run the risk of having your mail blocked, rejected or worse, labeled as spam.

That is why today's Social-MediatTV report is so important.
Here's my power list of critical areas that email marketers need to embrace in order to manage successful email marketing programs in the coming months:

1. Strategy. To be successful, you email marketing must be based on a sound marketing strategy that is designed to achieve those business goals you have for your business. It will require you to know how create an email marketing plan and program that is able to maximize your campaign's capabilities while achieving the desired customer click-through, resulting sale or transaction, profit margin or desired action, customer retention and other goals.

2. Your List. Another key aspects of successful email markting depends on your list-building expertise. This could include list rental, displays, event-registration, Web site contacts, use of landing pages designed to use form optimization and more. The key is for you, the marketer to build an ever-growing, high-quality list that produces the desired results you are planning for.

3. Email Layout Design. Email layout design requirements differ greatly from those conventionally used for print. Marketers should use proven email marketing tools that allow you to master email HTML coding, rendering issues, mobile design challenges and content-based spam filters without knowing HTML coding. Make sure that the email campaign provider who "sends" your emails is a reputable sender. All senders are not equal.

4. Deliverability. As the sender, you can control almost all of the factors that affect your deliverability: authentication, list house-keeping, frequency, relevance, content filtering and adherence to "CAN SPAM" national bulk email practices. The key is to insure that your mail gets delivered.

5. Copywriting-Copyediting. Email is not electronic direct mail. In general, email copy is designed to make someone click a link. Writing for email must understand the strategic use of titles that grab your attention, of subject lines that tease the title drawing the recipient to open the email, content and human filters designed to guide your listener to the desired action item, the impact of preview panes and blocked images, the way to insure people will click through for the action item you give them (such as sign up for a report or to click to view a web page) and the need for printable, scannable copy.

6. Database Management. Sound database management is at the heart of email success. Marketers must understand how to use (add, edit or delete) customer data, conduct list analysis to clean your list of bounced or blocked email, develop A-B tests to validate the most effective mail results, use focus create relevant segments and use personalization to drive relevance and conversion. The principles of testing, response models and integrating email with other channels such as direct mail and social media.

7. Legal issues. Do you know and understand your nation's laws regulating commercial email? Marketers who send to U.S.-based customers must know the tenets of the official CAN-SPAM Act. If you market internationally, you need to know which countries require double opt-in, and any data privacy issues that may affect you. Tap into your company's legal resources for expert help.

8. Email trends and best practices. Email is a dynamic element of marketing. Spam filter technologies and email client rendering are changing constantly. Consumer email use is evolving with social media, networks, communities and blogs. Today's inbox is different from 2008 and will change dramatically again in 2010. The new email will involve collaboration, document exchange, social media emedded messaging vs current POP/SMTP email. If your Web design project goes as expected, some assignments will only last as long as the project itself. These assignments are the best candidates for outsourcing. Other responsibilities are ongoing. For that reason they usually get assigned to permanent staff. Finally, some of these skill sets are probably irrelevant to you or beyond your means right now. Which roles fall into which category depends on your particular situation, but for small and mid-sized organizations the roles often divide out as follows.

Project-related roles:
For the most part, the assignments below begin and end with the redesign project, unless you have a large, complex Web presence that changes all the time. If you've hired a Web design firm, that firm will handle most of these assignments. However companies differ in terms of how many specialists they have and the emphasis they place on the different skill sets. Small, one or two person design companies won't have specialists for all the roles described below, but they might still have the full range of experience and skill. Larger companies have more specialists, but that’s often reflected in your bill.

• Web designer: Web designers often handle some or all of the roles described below, but in a narrower sense, designers focus on the creative and aesthetic aspects such as page layouts, color schemes, branding, font selection, and content navigation. They usually have some lightweight coding skills (like HTML, CSS, PHP), but they delegate the heavier programming tasks to the Web developer.

• Graphic designer: In a Web context, a graphic designer might create or select the following: logos, photographs, illustrations, color schemes, fonts, buttons, menus, and any other visual elements on the Web site.

• Web developer: A Web developer takes the plans and layouts from the Web designer and creates an actual Web site or Web-based application. Web developers usually have a strong understanding of Web server software, databases, content management systems and other Web applications. They also have experience with standard scripting languages (for example, PHP, Javascript), stylesheet languages (for example, CSS) and markup languages (for example, HTML, XML).

• Information architect: For large, complex Web sites, an information architect works with end users and content creators to develop a coherent, user-friendly content hierarchy, navigation structure and information taxonomy.

• Other roles: Larger Web design firms might have folks who specialize in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), usability testing, QA testing, Web analysis, and other areas.

Ongoing assignments:
The roles described in this second list don't usually fall to your Web design firm. In most cases you'll handle these assignments internally because someone has to address these responsibilities on a regular basis. They don't begin or end with the Web design project. If you do outsource these roles, you'll probably outsource to someone other than your Web design firm.

• Project Manager: Even a relatively small Web design project has a lot of moving parts. Assign someone to track due dates, deliverables and expenses. And no matter how much you try to outsource, someone has to choose the right contractors and evaluate their work.

• IT and tech support: If you plan to host your own Web site, someone has to buy, configure and maintain the server, create regular site backups, address security concerns, and monitor the availability and performance of the site. If you don't have an IT staff, or they're overworked, you can pay a Web hosting company to handle some of these regular tasks. For a price they'll handle monitoring, backup, site security, updates and patches, but you still have to know enough to evaluate the services you're paying for. Also, many hosting companies won't perform the initial setup and configuration of your site, and while they might help you troubleshoot some generic issues, they draw the line at anything having to do with your unique software and configuration decisions. Regardless of where you host your physical server, you should also consider hiring a full or part-time Web developer as your site grows. On solution is an out-sourced web design and maintenance specialist who can work on your behalf while keeping your budget low.

•Copywriters: Someone in your organization has to provide story ideas and story content. These experts should come from every corner of your organization, but you can also tap into the knowledge of volunteers and partner organizations. As long as you have strong editing skills on staff, your experts don't need to be world-class writers.

• Content managers, staff writers, and copy editors: Content specialists usually split their time between writing original articles and editing articles and news releases created by their colleagues (or outside experts).

• Marketing and Public Relations Specialists: A Web site redesign can be a major event that attracts a lot of attention to your organization, especially if your site now offers services and information that weren't available previously. If you have a marketing or communications team, invite them to the table early and often. Also, as pointed out previously, you have to inform your existing customers about any changes that effect their interaction with your organization.
• Public Relations support: in this age of customer-driven information, you cannot afford to live in a bubble of your own advertising. Check the various blogs where people share their opinions of your business or organization. You may discover that for every positive feedback about you may be very negative reports. A public relations specialist's role is to feed positive reports and blog posts to insure that your company or organization's public image remains untarnished.

• Web Analyst: If your site is a major part of your outreach strategy, you'll want to collect information about who's visiting your site, where they're going on the site, how long they're staying, etc. A Few Good Web Analytics Tools provides an excellent introduction to this topic.

• Social Media Specialist: Today's internet success must embrace the ever-changing social media community. This is where your next client or customer is going to be found. This person or outsourced team must be able to promulgate your content to the viral community including distribution of your video, audio or web content. To learn more about social media marketing, visit Social MediaTV where you can access a wealth of information and tips about social media marketing.

• Videographer Video is today's most important venue on the internet. No matter whether your web site is a single landing page, a weekly blog or a rich ecommerce site, you must consider utilizing video on your web site. This person or outsourced team must understand video production, lighting, sound and visual effects to give you the best results. Always ask for samples of work done. You don't need a beginner handling your business video production.

If you have a business or non-profit web site, devote your time and resources to insure your web site works for you. To many web sites are lonely orphans stored on someone's server. Left alone, collecting dust and costing your business or organization money.

Transform your web site success by paying attention to the areas that need constant updating.

Remember, it's not about working to have a successful web site. You need a web site that works for your business or organization.

If you need the support of a full-service web site design and maintenance company, contact AWS Creative Solutions for a free quote.
Ken Freeman has been building web sites for business and non-profit organizations since 1994.

SMPR - Social Media Press Releases

One way your business can benefit from outsourcing its Social Media campaign to www.social-mediatv.comis in the area of (SMPR) Social Media Press Releases.

Press releases used to be the exclusive domain of a dedicated internal Public Relations employee or a PR firm. Today that is officially passé. PR people liked to justify their costs to their clients by telling them that "press releases simply _have_ to be written in one certain special way" and that "no place will accept your press release unless it is routed through their credentials," etc. etc..

That USED to be true, but no more. PR people have good reason to be running scared in many areas because they are no longer needed, having been bypassed with today's way of getting mass attention -- social media. That's right, you no longer have to a credentialed journalist to submit a press release. In fact, as Social Media experts, 99% of the time, we can do it better!

BIGGER, BETTER, FASTER, CHEAPER

A couple years ago a few web sites offered online press releases. This was a step in the right direction. However, their audience was still limited and they charged big fees. That meant its effectiveness was limited and the time and expense means press releases had to be saved for only the most special of occasions.

No more! The press release has now evolved and your business can benefit from it. A Press Release is essentially an excuse to make an announcement to a wide audience about your company's update to its products and services. When you want EVERYONE to know, you use a press release.

THE NEXT GENERATION
www.social-mediatv.com can now get your press releases distributed for you (or even written in the first place) through Social Media networks in a way that

1 Reaches a wider, broader audience
2 Can be targeted to specific, unique audiences
3 Is friendly to the search engines (Google, Yahoo)
4 Will resonate with like-minded businesses for months to come
5 Can link to rich media content (audio, video, flash, websites) for high-powered communications
6 Builds a larger following and interaction with your social media network community
7 Builds more traffic to your blogs and Twitter accounts
8 Results in greater traffic to your corporate website
9 All content delivered is RSS enabled for further viral marketing
10 The scope of the new multi-media engaged press release is actually less cost than a conventional press release

Put press releases to work for your business -- either on a per-case basis, or a monthly retainer. In the last year alone, time spent on social networking sites has surged 73%. That's a massive jump.

2. The number of American users frequenting online video destinations has climbed 339 percent since 2003 - What this means is that online video is the future.

3. Time spent on video sites has shot up almost 2,000 percent over the same period.

4. In February, social network usage exceeded Web-based e-mail usage for the first time. Can you imagine the implication of this? Hello Twitter messages, good bye email!

5. There are 87 percent more online social media users now than in 2003, with 883 percent more time devoted to those sites.

6. In 2008, social media was a significant, emerging new kind of media. But as of Spring 2009 it has now oficially fully overtaken all other forms of marketing communications combined."

I fully agree with this statement. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that a national company that spends thousands a day on radio, television and print ads but has a serious public relations black eye doesn't understand power of social media. Case in point: One business I will not name for obvious reasons touts that they "really care" which is why they quote a low price to repair your brakes. However, if you Google this company you find one link to their corporate website and hundreds of links that only present negative reports. Ripoffs, customer complaints, bad experiences and more. Which voice is louder? The voice of their ads or the voice of the individuals journaling their complaints?

The report continued: "As soon as 4th quarter 2009, many successful corporations of 2008 will go extinct -- primarily because they did not adapt successfully to social media and did not recognize they were already in a Tar Pit."

Here is the problem as I see it: Corporations are by default typically big and slow. Change occurs slowly. Word of Mouth / Persuasion Power has already sifted thoroughly the entire blogosphere of Social Media. The question this article asks is simply this: "Will your corporation be one of the stuck elephants that realizes this too late?"

I recently took my grandsons to the Rancho La Brea Tar Pits in the heart of Los Angeles. Rancho La Brea is one of the world's most famous fossil localities. They were amazed to read about the large animals that died after becoming stuck in the tar pits.

According to this report, here are some of the Tar Pits many corporations are in today: • they continuing marketing and online communications as usual, in denial that Social Media is already bigger than CNN, your sales force and your website combined.

• they dabble in social media, but maintain the same typical corporate communication style (talking AT instead of talking WITH -- selling instead of attracting.

• they are haphazard without a genius strategy to pull it all together for optimum impact

• they make a stab at social media but box it into an existing department (IT, marketing, sales, Public Relations, Customer Service) when it encompasses all of these. Their results are frustratingly imbalanced and without power just as trying to run an 8-cylinder car on one cylinder would be. Friends, everything is at stake. You prospects and current customers are ALREADY on social media, talking about relevant issues, market developments, products and services. They are likely talking about your business or service.

Are you listening carefully to that conversation or is your business adrift at at the mercy of the loudest voices of social media?

Would you like to be more effective and articulate in the art of social media persuasion where your voice and message will attract your customers from this moment forward?

BOTTOM LINE If you are in business -- any business -- your customers and prospective customers are ALREADY using social media to tune into your reputation, your marketplace, and conversations closely relates to your services. If you are not harnessing Social Media, your business is committing slow public relations suicide by targeting where your prospects used to be, not where they are today and will be tomorrow.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY Our upcoming posts will address critical issues to effective Social Media Marketing such as:

• How to write your posts for greatest response * How to automate Twitter back into your website * Avoiding the Tar Pits • Learning to engage with your prospect and attract them instead of talking at them

We invite you to outsource your social media marketing to us. It sheds new light on the hyper-explosive growth of social media that is overshadowing conventional web site use and results.

According to the Marketing Charts news item, the average American-based Internet-user viewed over 2,554 Pages in March. As you look at the Internet habits and usage of users below, you can see the detail of what is really happening online today: (* and why you must embrace social media marketing!)

The average person visited 111 internet domains in March 2009.

They visited an average of 2,554 web pages in that one month.

The duration of time spent on a web page was about 56 seconds.

The top three parent companies (divisions) for the month were Google, Microsoft and Yahoo.

More than 137 million users visited at least one Google-owned site (or launched a Google application).

AOL was the 4th largest provider, but had the longest amount of time spent per person (3 hours and 45 minutes).

Facebook users spent an average of 3 hours and 16 minutes on the site during the month of March.

The problem is this: does your company website traffic "stick" to your website for more than 56 seconds?
Are you getting the results you need from those who only spend 56 seconds on your site?
How can you know what your customers and potential customers really think of your company?
How can you track the effectiveness of your investment in the internet?
How can you change clicks into customers?

As the story goes, every business and corporate sites face this new and growing challenge. They must devote the manpower and skilled talent to suddenly manage the growing maze of social media points of distribution. Larger corporations have already started hiring social media specialists. Major universities are now beginning to offer courses for Social Media Marketing. But the problem for the "rest of us" is this: how can you maximize your internet results using social media marketing in light of the depression and belt-tightening economy.

This is where a "Social Media Specialist" comes in. He or she or "they" are the trained conductors who drive today's high speed marketing train adjusting and promulgating your key content in real-time to the masses who populate the social media sphere. This practice of feeding a consistent, professionally crafted and search engine enhanced delivery of your key content has been coined "Never Stop Marketing." Like a river that never stops flowing, Social Media Marketing never stops.

You can rest assured of these three key factors:

The specialist understands and has experience both managing and orchestrating the myriad of social media destinations. The specialist understands video production on the fly, instant blog blasts that virally syndicate to hundreds if not thousands of lateral and vertical marketing points to bring your business site more quantified and qualified traffic.

The specialist is a professional copy editor/writer who understands the power of the pen and how to write attention getting content.

The specialist is a seasoned web designer, who understands and has experience with the many social media tools and site applications.

Sure, you could hire a new employee to your team. That approach could cost you easily $38,000-48,000 plus vacations, benefits, insurance and other costs of adding an employee. Another problem is that if he or she doesn't possess all the skills and expertise needed, he or she "may have to be trained". Further, you face the bigger problem where will you find that talent? Colleges and Universities have not trained social media specialists. This industry is new and growing at expitential rates. Thus, only seasoned web professional are currently filling the first wave of jobs needed by big business.

With the advent of social media marketing and the 15 years of commercial web building experience, now you can hire a trained, experience and dedicated team of Social Media Specialist who are ready to join your team for just the time you need to "get up to speed" with social marketing networking and marketing.

The value of their expertise and practical on-the-job experience means you are guaranteed a trackable return on investment that you cannot achieve with a younger, inexperienced beginner.

You don't have the increase your payroll or invest in more computers and systems to be successful with social media marketing. In fact, retaining your Social Media Specialists team is as easy as leasing a new car or truck for your business. Your investment is for only that you actually need. No long term contracts. No OSHA issues. No benefits to drain your business of more profits. Instead, retaining a professional team of Social Media Specialists insures that you have a creative and experienced team, orchestrating your content to the maze of social media Web 2.0 site targets with dependable and measurable results.

During an average one year contract, a team of specialists will manage your social media professionally, effectively and efficiently. The team approach will save you thousands in employee costs, give your business a true hyper-marketing push by insuring that you have a pro team delivery social media success for your business.

The bottom line: more exposure to your customers, more interaction with your customers and more dialog you have with your customers, the greater the probability that clicks will become clients.
###

If you need professional, creative social media help, let the professionals of AWS Creative Solutions show you how easy and affordable Social Media Strategic Orchestration really is. Ken Freeman has been a web design and marketing expert since 1994 when he left the world of G.E. All you then have to do is send an email to your blog (which feeds your blog) and now TWITTERFEED.COM will automatically populate your Twitter with an abbreviated 124 character feed.

Look how easy it is: Read the Full Story

You can also automate your feeds from your blog to PING.Fm
Read the Full Story

Get started with automating your Twitters.
View their website

Social Media Marketing - Opportunities and Challenges

Mar 27, 2009

That means there are enormous possibilities. While everyone's "mileage" may differ with no one cookie cutter formula that will fit all businesses, one thing is certain: our customers are already there, so we HAVE to be there, doing our best to reach them in a marketing medium that has credibility.

It is this very "trust-factor" of consulting the collective wisdom of individual opinions and reviews that means that prospects are best reached by those who UNDERSTAND them best. Most often that means their very peers. But a savvy company who is open to marketing communications at their customer's level, can quickly be positioned to receieve the lion's share of a niche in the marketplace.

For marketing-savvy Social Media, including Strategic Blogging, call AWS Creative Solutions 214-703-0505 or email support@awebstore.com

Source: http://marcuskaiser.blogspot.com/

Social Media Strategy

Orchestrate and Optimize for Maximum Impact

For Social Media to be strategic, there must be an integrated marketing plan in place that guides our efforts in Social Media so that time and money is not wasted.

Here are the facets of our Social Media Campaign services to ensure your business gets the optimum benefits:

Social Media Activation
A Social Media Campaign (SMC) begins with choosing the strategic network of target distribution and delivery points that become your network infrastructure of social media solutions working together for your successful Internet presence.

No two solutions are the same because each one must target your ideal customer. Think of your Social Media Campaign as an orchestra of different instruments:Blogs,

Web 2 friend-building sites,

Micro blogs,

Distributors and syndicators

Like a brass, wind and percussion section of an orchestra, your social media campaign will require management of a number of different “players” in your social media campaign (SMC). Your Social Media Specialist will be the conductor knows how to perfectly synchronize each player to produce the best-finished results.

Social Media Optimization

Your verbiage is the core content people will read and searches will find. Thus, to optimize your verbiage for the best-finished results your SMS will skillfully use your verbiage to insure rich use of keywords

and hyperlinks back to your main web site.

All keywords are not of equal value to you and your Social Media Specialist needs to focus first on the primary ones to have the largest effect.

Social Media Optimization is about taking advantage of the “share-ability” inherently built into Social Media networks to get your business products, services and brand “out there” for maximum effect. AWS Creative Solutions Social Media Specialist (SMS) will establish trackback, ping, permalinks and other RSS feeds to insure maximum portability of every post.
Search Engine Placement

Armed with your rich, hyperlinked copy posted to your blog, backed by the full distribution through the blog-world, will insure higher ranking positioning on search results in Google and Yahoo. I found this great article you need to know about. Here's a snippet of the story. See the full story

>The best solution: Give Priority To Video

Marketing with VideoOn December 17, 2008 -

Permission TV released its survey findings on online video initiatives for 2009. 2 out of 3 respondents listed online video as a primary focus of their 2009 digital marketing campaigns – higher than every other category, including social media and search. A ReelSEO blog post summarizes it clearly. It's too bad they overlooked video SEO in the survey. Unfortunately, designers seem to overlook the importance of SEO. It doesn't matter how great the video or your website looks if no one can find it or it doesn't promote your business correctly.

So what does this mean for orthodontic marketing?

Screw your shoes on, get your scripts ready, research video cameras, and put video on your website in 2009. No more procrastinating… you can't afford not too! Only one practice can be the first with an "effective video marketing presence" and one video doesn't cut it. You need to tell the story of your practice to engage new patients to increase referrals. This requires multiple areas of subject matter.

See the full story

Source:
Name: Mary Kay Miller
Email: marykay@orthopreneur.com
Organization: Orthopreneur
Phone: 5853812713
Address: 227 West Elm Street
City/town: E. Women have pushed ahead of men as the main users of internet.

2. 18 - 29 year olds are the primary user followed by 30-49 year olds

3. Majority users have household incomes of $50,000 - 75,000

4. Majority are college educated

To boost your business, consider how you can change your content to appeal to women who are the new buyers on the internet.

Women are more relational than men. Thus, you can expect that women use blogs far more than looking at static websites. This again, suggests that to have a successful site in 2009, you need to think Business to Business blogging.

For more information, visit AWS Creative Solutions

Googles Placement Targeting Advertising System

Website Owners:

I just watched a great video on Google Placement Targeting (btw - A true Sunomi has crashed upon all websites that exist. The critical paradigm sift from a static to interactive site came about as we moved from the 1990’s to the 2000’s. But, a new idea erupted that over these past nine years have taken over the web. Blogs and Video.

Google recently announced a major shift in the way they will look at a website for ranking on their search engine. Other engines are expected to follow suit.

One of my favorite sites to watch is Social Media . They track news about Facebook and other social networks and Web 2.0 sites. A December post confirms what many developers have been preaching for the past year. Google’s own Blogger service is the most used and most visited social media site in use today. The report covers a most recent November report by ComScore.com. ComScore is web traffic reporting site with a mix of coverage on social networks and blogging platforms. Their report is a worldwide usage report that the Internet industry relies on for traffic stats.

View the full report: http://www.socialmedia.biz/2008/12/top-social-medi.html

This chart tells the story even better than the article above.

http://jd.typepad.com/.shared/image.html?/photos/uncategorized/2008/12/31/chart.png
____________________

THE NEED FOR VIDEO:

____________________

First, the internet visitor expects video more today than ever. According to ComScore’s report in November, Google Sites once again ranked as the top U.S. video property with nearly 5.1 billion videos viewed (representing a 40 percent share of all videos viewed), with YouTube.com accounting for more than 98 percent of all videos viewed at the property. Fox Interactive Media ranked second with 439 million videos (3.5 percent), followed by Viacom Digital with 325 million (2.6 percent) and Yahoo! Sites with 304 million (2.4 percent). On the heels of a surge in viewership in October, Hulu retained its #6 position with 227 million videos viewed (1.8 percent).

View the full report: http://www.comscore.com/press/release.asp?press=2660

Also read: http://www.emarketer.com/Reports/All/Emarketer_2000537.aspx

Second, Google’s shift has created a need for a video on your front page if you wish to be seen on the search engine results. With the expansion of their algorithms to include video, blogs and other social media such as micro-blogging, all website owners need to quickly consider adding video to their website. This is a direct result of the new “Search Customization or Universal Search” which is the new talk of 2009. This has come to the web as the EXPECTATION OF THE USER BECOME KING OF THE HILL

Google is now showing "search customization" messages to inform searchers when their search results have been modified from "normal" due to a searcher’s geographic location, previous query or web surfing and search history. It’s a nice move to help searchers know what exactly is going on "under the hood" at Google and override it if the wrong choices are being made

View the full report:

http://searchengineland.com/google-now-notifies-of-search-customization-gives-searchers-control-14485

With Google’s ranking changing hour by hour, it is important that if you want to be seen on Google’s search engine in 2009 you need to scrap all the old ways of rank building and search engine optimization ideas and follow the basics of what you site is expected to be from the visitor’s viewpoint.

Thus, you need a video on your front page. A video that is changed regularly.

You also need an external blog.

THE NEW STRATEGY:

Using a free BLOGGER account for my blog and posting my webcam and KeyNote created movies to YOUTUBE.COM and linking the blog back to my website, I now give the spider what it is looking for to be considered a relevant site. The challenge to you as a site owner is this: if you do nothing, you will not be found on the search engine results and your traffic will slow down.

Here’s how AWS Creative Solutions can help.

BLOGGING FOR YOUR BUSINESS

Our service includes creating and managing your blog for you. As a seasoned Dallas Marketing and Advertising Agency professional, I am here to share about the Promotion element through the Six C's.

(1) CUSTOMER

Today, your company's marketing strategy needs to be customer-focused. It is all about service the customer. We believe that value only exists when we deliver measurable benefit to our customers.

To benefit the customer, first we have to understand your values, wants, needs and motivations. Not "understand" them as demographics or psychographics, but rather understand them as real people.

We have to understand why customers do what they do (or don't do) when they do it. Such knowledge is vital in marketing since having a strong understanding of buyer behavior will shed light on what is important to the customer. We focus on the your target customer first and then reverse engineer the most effective branding strategies.

It is crazy for a business to think they can attract prospects without understanding them. It's vital that companies have mindshare before market share can be gained.

(2) CONSISTENCY

Companies need to maintain consistency in their message; a practice called integrated marketing communications - from packaging and advertising to sales promotion and publicity. This will maintain and reinforce a brand's personality and image in a real life contex.

(3) CREATIVITY

Creativity is imperative to attract the right attention in a world cluttered with thousands of messages. Creativity adds impact through imagination - making your message memorable, compelling and effective.

Creativity lays aside the overly-familiar rules, and embraces out-of-box thinking so that marketers can reach beyond logic and structure and attract using a much more powerful force -- imagination.

* Creativity Informs: Marketing's responsibility to inform is amplified via creativity. Creativity makes marketing more vivid, and many researchers believe vividness attracts attention, maintains interest, and stimulates consumers' thinking.

* Creativity Persuades: Today's marketers are making creative storytelling aids: new myths, heroes and symbols like Ronald McDonald, the "Can You Hear Me Now" guy from Verizon, and more recently the Gecko from Geico Insurance.

* Creativity Reminds: It reinforces the brand with a unique flair. Imagine using the same invitation, without any creativity, to remind people to try a particular product everyday for a month. The invitation would become stale very quickly. Only creativity can transform boring reminders into interesting, entertaining marketing communications.

Nike is proof. Several commercials in a Nike campaign never mention the company name or even spelled it out on the screen. Each communication told a story. Each story evoked an emotion, created a possibility and an opportunity. And, the only on-screen cue identifying the sponsor was a single "swoosh" logo inscribed on the final branding scene.

(3) CULTURE

We understand that your business has to speak the CUSTOMER'S language to reach them in their world. All marketing communications needs cross-cultural research to be able to succeed. It's foolish to only see things from your own perspective, assuming that everyone else in the world thinks exactly like you and should understand what's so great about your product or service.

As David Ogilvy, the Father of Advertising, states, "If you are trying to persuade people to do something, or buy something, it seems to me you should use their language, the language in which they think".

(4) COMMUNICATION

Consumers don't want to be "sold to". Rather, they want to be "communicated with." Communication ties right into the tips about Culture above.

Good marketing communication creates value with target customers, speaks in their language and tells your story. It's about building long term, trustworthy, and profitable relationships with your customers.

Communication is not persuasive if it is "salesy", rather real communication is authentic and authenticity fosters trust and opens the doors for agreement.

(5) CHANGE

Marketing is not just a business function, but a process. There is a beginning, middle, but there is never an end. Successful must constantly CHANGE as society changes. It is a conversation with your customers and potential customers that evolves right alongside them. As their needs, goals and desires change, our marketing keeps pace.

Marketing needs to be an evolving process that considers change in the world, economy, market, consumers; as well as internal change within the organization.

AWS Creative Solutions' advertising and marketing solutions for growing companies begins with targeted, measurable marketing plans and implement with break-through creative and the most up-to-date and innovative marketing communications. The digital age has shifted to video online.

As the story goes, more and more of us are creating video, watching it and telling our friends about it. Mainstream media giants, organizations of all sizes and individual Internet users alike are literally setting the online world in motion with video.

The facts are in: Video online is becoming a natural part of our lives, enabling us to do things easier, faster and better! With video you can:

* Discover what's new
   * Watch the news
           *Tell your stories
               * Train your customers
                    *Communicate your brands
                            *Share your vision

Video is a powerful communication tool. Unlike static web sites that require you to read a boring page, video multiplies and amplifies retention of what we see and hear. Video not only tells your story, but it SHOWS it too (in more places than ever!)

Web design is no longer about strategizing and creating a fancy web site and hoping people buy your service or product. It is about creating a professional video for promoting/spreading/broadcasting/webcasting/blogcasting your message to the world. Video is easy to create! Video is real! Video works!

Think about this: your business video can be broadcast digitally in many ways to reach, inspire, persuade and motivate your audience:

• Video on your web site
• Video on your blog
• Video shared on Video sites (YouTube, Viddler, Google video, ...)
• Video webcasts
• Video on cell phones
• Video in emails
• Video Podcasts
• Direct Mail DVD and Tradeshow handout DVDs.

Watching a video is FUN whereas reading lots of text is dull. Putting your message in video can increase customer responsiveness by 50% to 150%.

The time is ripe for video to penetrate the consciousness of your audience.

Take advantage of video's power to communicate effectively

Put video to work for your business today!

AWS Creative Solutions is a Visual Marketing Communications firm in Dallas, offering online video solutions that are innovative, affordable, easy to use and easy to manage. You may want to think again. According to Technorati, more than 10,500 blogs were tagged charity, 4,000 blogs nonprofit and 2,300 blogs philanthropy in January of 2007 and these numbers are predicted to rapidly increase in the future. Below are ten reasons your nonprofit should participate in this movement and harness the power of the blog today.

1. Search engine optimization - Keywords and website design are important to search engines when calculating a search result list. A focused, well-written blog on your website will contain several keywords which improve the site's search ranking. Additionally, if the blog has useful content, other sites will want to link to it, improving your website's level of importance. To keep search engines current with your blog, remember to ping them regularly using one of the many free tools such as pingomatic. For more information on search engine optimization, read my article "Make Your Nonprofit Website a 'Hit': A 30 Day Step-By-Step Guide to Better SEO," or one of the many articles within Search Engine Land or Search Engine News.

2. Expert in the Field - Nonprofit organizations have a wealth of information on their specific area of focus. This information is highly desired in online blogging communities. By posting regularly in blogs focused on similar issues, your organization will gain a reputation for being an expert. Bloggers want to read more postings by experts and will follow links to your organization's website. According to the March 2007 Blog Readership Report, 67.3% of bloggers found information by following links from other blogs. Technorati and BlogCatalog are good directories to find topically relevant blogs. Icerocket has also done an excellent job dissecting blogs and making them more search friendly.

3. Credibility - It is more important today than ever before for nonprofit organizations to be trustworthy in the eyes of their contributors. One of the best ways to establish this relationship of trust is to make events and projects as visible as possible. By having weekly updates on projects and the projects' successes, users will know exactly what difference their donations have made (or will make if they donate). Furthermore, project developments can be posted onto the blog keeping the organization's efforts current (Have Fun Do Good Blog).

4. Awareness - The beauty of the "blogosphere" is that almost all blogs are linked to one another. This creates a useful network of information that bloggers have access to. According to Vizu's March 2007 Blog Readership Report, more than 30% of bloggers use blogs as a source for information. This means that with an estimated 57 million bloggers today (Technorati), more than 17 million of them are information-thirsty bloggers who desire the kind of content your nonprofit blog could provide. In addition, having a blog allows you to create your own media and bypass traditional media channels which are often expensive and limited in frequency.

5. Negative Comments - People are talking and probably writing about your nonprofit already. Hopefully, the majority of what is said is positive, but almost inevitably there will be some negative commentary. A blog provides a median to field complaints or concerns and defend the decisions the organization has made. Be sure to keep the tone of the commentaries professional and respond promptly.

6. Events - A regularly maintained blog will attract loyal readers who can easily be informed about upcoming events. To incentivize new subscribers, or to increase the loyalty of existing subscribers, consider having special promotions on the blog before events. It is important to note, however, that a blog should serve to work in conjunction with the traditional channels of marketing already in place, not to replace them.

7. Annual Report - Many nonprofits are required to compile an annual or semiannual report. By working smarter and creating a blog, you will have most of the content for the report already completed before you even begin compiling it (Have Fun Do Good Blog). Furthermore, many supporters feel that blogs are more honest and accurate than formal annual reports, so the effort required to create the content will be more cost effective.

8. Information - One of the most difficult aspects of any nonprofit is gaining an understanding of its supporters. A blog can help tap into this resource of information and more. Two major information-related benefits include:

1. Allowing users to create - A blog encourages involvement in the organization. The AARP Issues Blog allows readers to create entries about what issues they feel are important and receive feedback from these entries.

2. Provide information to supporters - If a picture can convey a thousand words, then a blog on your website will have a lot to say. So much of the success of a fundraising campaign (whether you like it or not) comes from its emotional appeal. By having a blog that contains pictures and stories, viewers will become more emotionally involved with the cause or service.

9. Fundraising - By using charity badges on your blog, you can get your supporters to help with fundraising efforts. A charity badge can be set up quickly and allows people to share the small graphic image you create to make donations. ChipIn and Network for Good both have charity badges available for a small fee. There are countless examples of blogging communities that have worked together to raise money using charity badges.

10. The "Heart" of the Organization - A blog gives you the unique opportunity to show the organization in a totally new light. While blogs are beneficial for marketing and fundraising purposes, their most important function should always be to convey interesting and compelling stories about the organization.

Source: Lance Trebesch and Taylor Robinson from TicketPrinting.com

As I review these 10 keys to web success, I honestly can say that each one could and should be adapted for business websites. The key to a successful blog is for the blog to be updated regularly, religiously and relevantly so that it boosts your KEYWORD association with your original business website.

Want to have a blog work for you rather than you have to work for a blog?

Call Ken Freeman at 214-703-0505 for a free quote for getting you started.

Tips for better ranking in Google

My Suggestions and Tips for Best Results with Google

Follow the guidelines set forth by Google:

From Google:
"Basically, Google's position is that we prefer no hidden links, no hidden text, no automatic tools used for positioning, and no cloaking. We prefer that Googlebot get the exact same page that users see. In general, you can assume that we're as conservative as possible. We don't like hidden links/text in divs/layers/iframes/css, or links that are inconspicuous or punctuation, for example. Similarly, we don't like cloaking or sneaky redirects in any form, whether it be user agent/ip-based, or redirects through javascript, meta refreshes, 301/302's, or 100% frames."

For more information about professional search engine-friendly web design and creative site makeovers to bring your site into the new web market, visit AWS Creative SolutionsNew Category

Blog 4 You

AWS Creative Solutions adds new BLOG4YOU services.

The search engines are changing the way they search and rank your site.
